Large Vintage Tintin Fabric Panel - Secret of the Unicorn

This is a large, French cotton panel showing Tintin, Captain Haddock and Snowy with a picture of the Unicorn behind them. The French title of the book is written across the top. The drawings are all taken from Herge's 1943 book, The Secret of the Unicorn. This fabric is marked with the Herge trademark and dated 1994.

This is a large fabric piece. The main picture is 115cm x 150cm and the outer border adds a further 5cm to each side and 10cm top and bottom. This would be great backed and turned into a unique curtain or it would make a large bedspread or quilt.

There is some matching Unicorn fabric in the shop which would make a great cushion to match.

This is a vintage fabric but it is in good condition with no signs of wear. The cotton is strong and the colours are good. There are some old tumble drier fold marks on the dark jumper of Captain Haddock.
