Vintage 1983 Willo the Wisp Fabric by Fothergay - Fat Quarters

This fabulous cotton by Fothergay dates from 1983 and is filled with characters from Willo the Wisp - the children's cartoon voiced by Kenneth Williams. (You can almost hear his voice..)

All the characters are here, Mavis the fairy, Evil Edna, Arthur the Caterpillar, Carwash, Moog and the Beast.

Like all Fothergay fabrics from the 1960's on, this is bright and filled with colour. This is a reclaimed vintage cotton with selvedges to both sides. The condition is good with strong colours overal. There is a faint stitch line on a couple of the pieces - see the pictures.

This is a lovely fabric and a super rare find! Match it up with one of the other Fothergay cottons in the shop for a colourful quilt or cushion.
