Vintage Thelwell Fabric - Screenprinted Linen - Wardle Print - 100cm x 35cm

This classic vintage Thelwell fabric is screenprinted linen from Wardle and is filled with Norman Thelwell's glorious girls astride their misbehaving ponies. It's a midweight linen with a cream background and it's perfect for pony-mad children,(or adults)!

Thelwell fabric is hard to find, especially this print and I have to confess it's my favourite version. This is a reclaimed cotton in good condition; the fabric is a soft cotton and the colours are  good overall with clear prints. There is a faint fold line on both pieces - see the last two images. I don't think it's a big deal but it is there. One piece has the Wardle mark on the selvedge both have the Thelwell signature in the print.

There are three pieces available, each measures 100cm wide x 35cm deep. Each one contains plenty of complete images of ponies and girls. The figures measure between 12cm and 30cm in height and are well spaced on a cream background. The fabric is linen.
