Vintage Beano Cotton - 100cm (max) x 70cm

Dennis the Menace features on this Beano cotton along with  Minnie the Minx, Roger the Dodger, Ballboy and Billy Whizz.  These are the original style character drawings, created before the comic was modernised.

The Beano characters appear on a white cotton background on this salvaged fabric. This is reclaimed cotton, but overall the condition is very good. The white background is bright and the colours are strong. There is one small mark near Billy Whizz but nothing else I can see.  The characters measure between 10cm and 20cm in height and are well spaced if you want to divide this for patchwork.

This is an odd shaped piece. It measures 70cm wide at the top but 105cm wide at the bottom. This is because some of the characters have been cut out. I've left it this shape so you get as many characters as possible - if I trim it square, lots will be lost. It is 70cm long.

I've spent ages looking for more Beano fabric so I'm happy to have found some of this.

Vintage Beano cotton measures 80cm across and is sold in 84cm lengths. I have split this to ensure that a single unit gives a complete repeat plus a few extras. If you order both pieces I can send them as a continuous run.
