1979 Romanex Boussac Jungle Book Cotton - 130cm x 38cm

This vintage Jungle Book cotton is unused and fabulous! It's a screen-printed cotton, made by the famous French textile company Romanex de Boussac for Walt Disney Productions in 1979.

There are a lot of scenes and characters from the 1967 film, with all the main players represented. The Elephant Dawn Patrol, the Vultures, Baloo, Bhageera, Sheer Khan, Kaa, the village girl... even the Wolf that finds Mowgli in the basket. I've had a few Jungle Book fabrics in my time and this is the best by a country mile!

This is unused, end of roll vintage fabric. It's clean and unmarked and has full attributions. One selvedge has the Boussac marks, the other the Walt Disney Copyright with the date. 

Vintage Disney cotton in this condition and in this quantity is a rare find so if you want to make curtains, a bed throw or another large item this is for you.

There is just one piece of Jungle Book cotton left, it measures 130cm across x 38cm long.
