1970's Wardle Puss-in-Boots Screenprint Linen - 110cm x 60cm

This colourful vintage linen is a Wardle screenprint from the seventies. It features Puss-in-Boots in a bright landscape surrounded by all kinds of animal characters and cute cottages. There's a cat chasing a dog up a tree, two sprites riding a crocodile, the hare (from the tortoise and the hare) snoozing under a tree, plus lots more. The colours are fabulous and the screen print is lovely and clear.

This is reclaimed linen in good condition. The edges are neatly hemmed and there are no marks that I can see. It would make a fantastic bag or cushion or as a centrepiece for a story based quilt project.

This last piece of Wardle Puss-in-Boots measures 110cm wide x 60cm long which gives you pretty much a complete repeat.
