Vintage Asterix Cotton - 1974 - Various Sizes

Asterix the Gaul and friends on this cotton blend fabric from 1974.

This is a cotton blend Asterix fabric dating from the 1970's. It's filled with characters from the Goscinny and Uderzo Asterix stories shown on a white background.

Alongside Asterix are Obelix, Cacofonix, Vitalstatistix and Getafix, as well as Obelix's faithful friend, Dogmatix.*

This is a lovely, rare print that any Asterix fan will love. It is marked with the Dargaud Editeur copyright and dated 1974.

This is a hard to find print and this is reclaimed fabric. The cotton is strong however there is an overall fade to the colours. It's even across the width of the cotton and so not overly bothersome but it is there and the colours are not as vibrant as my camera would have you believe. This is over 40 years old so I think the fading is acceptable but please take it into account when ordering. This is a lighterwieght cotton and will benefit from being backed when sewn.
