Vintage French Zoo Fabric - 38cm x 85cm

This French cotton by Romanex de Boussac is filled with stylised animals and birds in birdcages and huts.

This vintage French fabric is called Buffon and was designed by Pascaline Villon for Romanex de Bousson. It dates from the 1960's and was sold as a nursery fabric.

It has charming illustrations of birds and animals in bright colours - I particularly love the Stag and the flamingo.

This is the pink colourway of this design and it measures 38cm across x 85cm long and has 10 complete images plus some extras - most are 13cm - 14cm in height..
