1930's Fairytal Fabric - 88cm x 40cm

This vintage fairytale fabric dates from the thirties and has beautiful pictures from some well loved tales.

This 1930's printed rayon has several scenes printed on an off-white backround. Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Hansel & Gretal and Little Red Riding Hood are all depicted in vignettes that measure about 18cm x 14cm. In between are little pictures of flowers and toadstools.

The drawings are beautiful and the colours are still bright. There is one mark just below Red Riding Hood, other than that I can only see a few minor pulled threads on the background.

The piece measures 88cm x 40cm and has 5 complete images. There is a neat hem at the top and unpicked hems to each side.
