Unusual Christmas tin that features winter sports in a humerous way

This is a lovely tin from Frears that was sold in the 1960's and celebrated winter sports. It was called Alpine and was sold as their Christmas tin for 1960. The images are great and the sides and inside of the tin are in very good condition. Sadly at some point, someone has cleaned the lid rather enthusiastically, and so the images on there are less clear.
The tin has thin rolled edges to the top of the base, the lid still fits well and the inside is clean. The base is marked Frears Limited and stamped for Christmas 1960.
This is a good, solid Christmas tin and you could still use it to store Christmas treasures of your own. If you have a skiing friend, it could make a prefect gift!
It measures 23.5cm x 22cm x 10cm so is big enough to hold a cake or Christmas biscuit assortment of your own!
