In The Street - Today & Tomorrow Poster Series - 1962 - E.R Boyce

The Today and Tomorrow series was a collection of posters, curated by Boyce, and issued to primary schools in 1962. They are characterised by their attention to detail and bright colours and look great framed up and displayed in a modern setting.

This original, vintage print is called In The Street and is listed under the category of Creative Activities. Here we are looking at a mid century town high street with traditional shops, a policeman on the corner and shoppers with wicker baskets. It's a lovely sunny day and there are babies out in prams and children posting letters. Everything you might hope for in a nostalgic scene and full of details. Perfect for a kitchen wall and would look great displayed alongside The Indoor Market print also in the shop.

The posters have crisp, clear colours and are printed on heavy white paper. This print has been stored flat which has protected the image. There is a good margin around the image and details of the series and publisher are in the bottom corners.

They look fantastic framed up and on display in both children's and adult rooms.
