Flying Kites - John Harwood - 1964

A lovely poster showing children flying traditional kites on a hillside. I live in Sussex and to me, this looks like Chanctonbury Ring with the Downs in the distance but it could equally be Parliament Hill in Hampstead. This poster was designed and created by John Harwood whose work also includes designs for Puffin and Ladybird Books.

This print has the title and attribution to John Harwood on the bottom border and is dated April 1964.

These images are crisp and colourful and this poster will frame up beautifully. Perfect for adding vintage style to a room.

Overall size is 60cm x 45cm including a 1cm border.

Please note. These posters were sent to teachers as part of a booklet and do have old fold marks. These flatten when framed and don't detract from the print - they are just part of its history. See the last picture to see one that I have framed and displayed at home.
