1930's Art Deco Vat-Dyed Textured Cotton - 88cm Wide

Fabulous, unused vat-dyed cotton from the thirties. This has a textured finish, like barkcloth, and a lovely drape. It's mid weight so suitable for any project. There are selvedge to both sides and printed details of the vat dyeing, ("best obtainable"), and pattern number.
This is a grey cotton, overlaid with pink, blue and yellow flowers and green leaves. In between the blooms are scrolls of paper showing bamboo plants in grey and black. An unusual and striking print.
It's sold by the half metre, ordering more than one unit will bring an uncut piece.
