Printed True Confessions Bunting - Vintage French

Quirky, (and cheeky), mid-century decor made from vintage French True Confessions magazine images.

This decorative bunting has been created by printing vintage pictures from 1950's French magazines onto cotton. The images come from Eve magazine and all are the front covers from the True Confessions section. They are charmingly risque and fun.

Once printed, I create the bunting by backing each image with vintage damask to create flags with contrast stitching and decorative edges. All the flags are then stitched to a length of cotton tape and no two flags on the string are the same.

There are 11 different flags on a 2.5 metre string, each measures about 10cm x 14cm.  The flags are strong (not a single layer of flimsy cotton!) and they hang beautifully.

PLEASE NOTE:These prints are water-resistant but not waterproof. The strings can be used indoors or out but not on a rainy day!
