1940's Animal Print Cotton - 65cm x 65cm

Animals and ducklings fill this vintage children's cotton linen which I think dates from the 1930's or 40's.

The animals and ducklings that form the subject matter are screen printed on in red, yellow, brown and green. There are rabbits going shopping and serving lemonade, ducklings playing, a squirrel on a blossom-filled branch and a donkey pulling a cart.

This is honestly the most charming print I've stocked. The colours are soft and the pictures are beautiful - a perfect child's fabric.

This is unused vintage cotton. There are selvedges to both sides and the fabric is in good condition with no fading. There are a some marks dotted around (see the last pictures) but they are nothing major and may come out with a specialist wash.The characters measure between 10cm and 17cm in height.

There are two pieces of this vintage animal cotton , each measures 65cm x 65cm. If you order both, they will come as a continuous piece widthways.
