Huntley & Palmer Christmas Tin - Christmas Biscuit Tin - Choirboys

Nostalgic Christmas tin from the 1960's with choirboys and winter scenes

This vintage Christmas tin is from 1960's and was made by Huntley & Palmer. This one has choirboys on the lid. They are playing in the snow in the village street with the church in the background. Around the edge of the image is a lovely border made up of Holly leaves, Robins and Christmas bells. The sides have more choirboy images and Christmas decorations. The Huntley & Palmers logo appears on the side with the Royal Warrant stamp.
The tin has beautifully rolled edges to the top of the base, an indicator of its age. The lid and sides are pretty clean with no dents. There is some light scratches to the lid and a few dots of tarnish. The overall wear is right for its age. The lid still fits well and the inside is tarnished but clean and there is no rust. There is an original Huntley and Palmer sticker to the lid.
This is a good, solid Christmas tin. It displays well and you could still use it to store Christmas treasures of your own.
It measures 23.5cm x 22cm x 12cm so is perfect for holding a cake or Christmas biscuit assortment of your own!
