Original 1960's Christmas tin from Brooks Beattie

This vintage Christmas tin is from the early 1950's and was filled with 4Lbs of biscuits. The lid has a fabulous snowy scene of a shepherd and his sheepdog rounding up their flock in the evening. There is a cosy cottage in the background and a beautiful sunset behind the trees. The sides continue the theme with more rural winter scenes.
This vintage Christmas tin is in very good condition for its years. The picture on the lid is clear with very light wear and small pitting.  The base has beautifully rolled edges and the sides are all clean and the images are good. This is an older tin that still looks good and displays well. The inside is clean and the lid closes well. The bottom of the base is scratched as you would expect. It is marked with the Brookes Beattie name.

It measures 23.5cm x 22cm x 12cm so is perfect for holding a cake or Christmas biscuit assortment of your own!
