1960's Double Sided French Poster - The Garden/Autumn - Le Jardin/L'Automne

This vintage, French poster is one of a series by Oge-Hachette and is double sided. It is unused, original stock and in perfect condition.

On one side is a lovely garden scene in late summer with children and the gardener harvesting fruit and veg. The other side shows a a viewpoint of a road, woods and countryside which is rendered in the colours of Autumn. This scene recurs again in Spring on another poster with the same view. In this one the children forage for mushrooms, the farmer harvests logs in the woods and the police chat by the roadside.

These are beautifully detailed images with good colour and a clear print. Choose your favourite side for display or rotate with the seasons!

These original French Oge-Hachette posters are printed onto heavy white paper/card and the colours and printing is very representative of the 1960's and 70's when they were in use in the classroom.

These posters are charming and quirky and are equally at home in a child's room or the kitchen. They are a good size, and measure 96cm by 61cm.

Sent rolled in a cardboard tube.
